Named after the shape-shifting fox spirit of Japanese folklore, Kitsune embodies quiet transformation and hidden energy. The pressed Japanese maple leaves seem to shift and gather in subtle motion - a composition that feels alive, intelligent, and just out of reach. Each leaf was preserved and scanned in its true colour, with only dust removed - unaltered, natural, and full of quiet presence.
Created in the Old Leaf studio in Tweed Heads, Australia, each botanical print is made to order - reducing waste and celebrating sustainable, locally made art.
Part of It’s Just Maple - Old Leaf’s debut botanical print collection exploring how organic form meets digital rhythm.
Open edition.
